hello it's my hexproof G/W deck i would love to hear some advices about how to improove it, especially about sideboard. Since i'm quite fresh player i don't know what is worth to have in it
ok now how the decks work.In early game it's based on the
Bassara Tower Archer
, Gladecover Scout and Fiendslayer paladin]] and enchantments with lifeling flying trample and first strike, witch can boost one creature to serious threat in quite short time.
in this deck i have quite massive lifelink (11 cards) so i decided to put here Sunbond it's good since my creatures are hard to kill in combat; 4 cards which gives flying( evasion) and 7 cards with first strike. Sunbond sometimes can make my creatures really strong
I added Heliod, God of the Sun in deck because it gives vigiliance to creatures and thanks to that i have really strong lifelink with that pumped one creature. and since i have many cards with 2W cost it's easy to get enough devotion to play him as creature
If we manage to get to the midgame, hunter prowess gives very big card advantage. In mid game usually i have strong, at least around 10/10 creature so with it, it has 13 power so some of that damage will almost certainly go to the opponent, especially if creature is enchanted with Gift of Orzhova. After that while i have 5-7 strong cards in hand and opponent has about one, game is usually finished
Sideboard:i found my deck quite weak against black decks based on sacrificing and so i placed into sideboard 3x
Aegis of the Gods
to prevent from sacrificing: many people who play black decks, after first game changes at least half of their target removals to sacrificing removals so chances that aegis will be killed are decreassing
this deck has some disadvantages with fighting against blue and white decks because
Fiendslayer Paladin
can be easly removed from game. So i have in sideboard 2x
Witchstalker
and 2x
Fleecemane Lion
to change them. After that chances to have lifelink are decreassing so also i can take out Sunbond and put Eidolon of Countless Battles instead
i would be gratefull for some advices from better players how to improve this deck and how to make good sideboard :]
