I'll start with a judge ruling:

"Selvala's parley ability is a mana ability. It doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to..."

High Power (not cEDH) GW Selvala, mostly staples. Paradox Engine was banned one day before I built this, and it still wins on turn 5. You can grow incredibly fast without Paradox Engine , don't believe the hype.

Use Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination on any dork that taps for more than 3, gain infinite mana. Once you have infinite mana, you can activate Selvala, Explorer Returned until you draw a Hurricane , after casting Grand Abolisher . Even though her mana ability doesn’t use the stack, every untap engine will, so you will need to plan accordingly. If you parley ~80 times you will gain 80 life, so even if you somehow don’t win that turn, you’ll be in a good place. Very straightforward.

Honorable mention here: Quirion Ranger . Any Selvala player will tell you this card is strictly better than Paradox Engine , especially as a last resort. You can only use the ability once per turn, but the utility is unbounded. There’s a reason why it’s the featured card in this decklist.

Creature beats is great too, with Craterhoof Behemoth or Avacyn, Angel of Hope . I do not plan to use Temur Sabertooth in this deck (which combos with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Craterhoof) because this isn't Brostorm. If anything, it is very easy to win out of nowhere with this deck without infinite combos, and can be played in any high power casual pod.
