The idea here is to basically double your life every turn by using the Avatar/Wall Combo. The Equipment simply protects the avatar, and could also buff it up if you want to.

The idea here is to Mana Ramp, Elvish piper out the Serra Avatar by between turns 4-7. Wall of Reverence starts the combo. Remembrance causes the Avatar to fish itself out of the deck. Altar of Bones to search for either the avatar or the piper. The equipment is there to add pain, and stop the avatar being removed.

Finally, the Gaea's Blessing helps prevent Mills
