I've been struggling to find a deck I love to play that is competitive enough to take to FNM that isn't always seen. With SOI coming out gave me the motivation I needed to build a vampire tribal. I've decided to go mono black for this deck and build upon the strengths that doing so can offer.

The goal is to get a turn one Shadow Alley Denizen to enable evasion hitting a creature drop each turn ideally ramping up to the lords. Using instants and life link to keep me in the game in the meantime. Damnable pack is for card draw later game if I hit a snag and it turns to a top deck race. My meta has a lot of Planeswalkers and Affinity so Vampire Hexmage is a needed main board at least two of.
