Shadow keyword plays a role here which the original deck failed to have. This allows damage to get through. Personally yhere are a couple of angles I'd rather not do without and so dropped some lacklustered Shadow creatures in favour of them. The Swords are awesome when the connect, and getting creatures that allow to equipe at instant speeds and for zero mana is a dream goal you can keep in mind. I wanted to keep the new Planeswalker Commander to try it out, Kemba, Kha Regent or Brimaz, King of Oreskos as commander could get commander damage back in the game. Look at deck:The Victorious Cat Army for that kind of voltron.
