The idea is kinda simple. Play Master of Cruelties make him unblockable with Aqueous Form or Thassa, God of the Sea, swing, they go to 1, you burn their house down with combustible lemons....or Shock....your choice. Alternatively you play Aetherling and win. The deck features a lot of cycling in order to find the pieces to the combo, Jace, Architect of Thought, Read the Bones, with Izzet Charm being a lot of everything you want, counter, cycling, and burn. Slaughter Games helps clear the path for Master of Cruelties because even if you don't hit seeing their hand and deck gives you a massive advantage in knowing what to throw away and what to keep. Chandra, Pyromaster and Ral Zarek Are there to lend their lightning bolts. Ral Zarek Has the additional assistance in keeping mana untapped, while Chandra, Pyromaster can help late game after a scry land. Mizzium Skin saves Master of Cruelties from removal and Master of Cruelties himself dodges things like Ultimate Price and Doom Blade. In short this deck has one goal and one goal only, swing at most 3 times, and fling lightning bolts. Oh and Whip of Erebos for dragging that sucker out of the graveyard if they take em down before he has shanked their liver.
