Sharuum Artifact EDH

Commander / EDH*

toastmatic

Used to be Sen Triplets as the commander but Sharuum was just way better for this deck.

The basic concept is still the same: Get a bunch of cheap artifacts out and put out some big creatures to swing with. In most cases this deck plays like a Voltron with one or two big creatures covered in swords and other goodies. I attribute many wins to the sheer power of Mimic Vat and Mirrorworks in this deck.

Noteworthy Shenanigans:

Mimic Vat is great for triggering effects of the Acrbound Creatures, the Sphinxes, Filigree Angel, and Solemn Simulacrum. If I'm feeling really dangerous, Sharuum the Hegemon as well. Master Transmuter is also great for swapping these guys in and out to repeatedly trigger their effects.

Tezzeret the Seeker to untap Mana Vault or Steel Overseer each turn.

Mirrorworks and Gilded Lotus, Sol Ring, or the Artifact Lands for some ramp...or Cloud Key...or really any artifact. Mirrorworks is cool.

Darksteel Forge and any board wipe.

The deck is pretty self explanatory otherwise with lots of synergy between artifacts.

Current To-Do list:

  1. Tune the lands (color wise) and upgrade to shock lands and dual lands.

  2. Replace the one card I seem to have lost...current contenders are Ethersworn Adjudicator, Path to Exile, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, Chromatic Lantern, Venser, the Sojourner, or Ethersworn Canonist

  3. Probably remove Sen Triplets for another one of the cards from number 2.

Suggestions

Updates Add

Put some more mana rocks in for ramp, removed some useless stuff, and made the deck a little more voltron since that is how most successful outcomes have been reached.
