Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest and Zurgo Bellstriker don't have a lot in common. Different clans, different lifestyles, and different colors but what they do share is a love for Hero's Blade. To make both parties happy I brought them together with their favorite toy in this fast paced and budget ($50) blue-red tempo deck.

The main objective is quite simple, let Hero's Blade float and use Zugro Bellstriker's dash ability with or by itself Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest's double-strike ability to make crushing attacks. Throw in a few Titan's Strength and these two are swinging strong.

Then for some added terror, the deck is filled with cards like Aerial Formation , Magmatic Chasm , Blinding Flare , and Thassa, God of the Sea to make those power attacks really count and activate the double-strike.

Now there's always the threat of flying cards in a deck like this. But don't worry because you can burn right through them with cards like Wild Slash and Lightning Strike.

Of corse, if burning isn't working, there are more counter-measures with Sidisi's Faithful to bounce back problem creatures or even Quickling to rescue one of the big guns.Finally a few Anticipate really help if available cards are looking scarce.

Truth be told this deck is nasty and the ultimate duo can quickly hit the opponent where it hurts.
