The basic idea is to ramp into some nice threats with Biomancer, the Hydras, and or Nylea while using Simic Charm & Spell Rupture to protect your guys. Jace, Architect of Thought draws you cards when you're ahead, and protects your life total when you're behind. Lastly, Curse of Swine takes care of the things that are too big to just smash through. And the Prophet of Kruphix allows you to sneak in a Kalonian Hydra end of turn.

The Bident of Thassa is great if you're getting guys through, but against control and aggro it's often better switched out as a body.

Against a blue shell the Ruptures some out for Gainsay and the 2 spare Mistcutter Hydras come in over Curse of Swine or a Bident and an Elvish Mystic or something else.

Ratchet Bombs help vs aggro along with the Tuskers.

Finally, the Witchstalkers come in against heavy control, but honestly they kinda suck.

I could really use some help ironing out the curve, and having better sideboards, because frankly the ratchet bombs and the stalkers have been meh.

The lack of 3 drops is intentional: between the tap lands, and the ramp critters I often find myself jumping from 2-4 mana on turns 2-3 more than I do 1-3 mana on turns 1-2.
