So this is my take on the standard slivers. From what I can see, slivers can be pretty powerful but there's a few things that sliver decks are usually desperately without. 1) Card advantage. 2) Reliable removal protection. 3) Board control. So this is what I have come up with to try and build a consistent deck.
~CREATURES~
The Slivers: Not much to say here but they are the bulk of the deck. We're using every sliver we have available to us here. The Green slivers have amazing synergy and Galerider Sliver gets us around our opponents board.
Elvish Mystic: Another mana dork to make sure we have mana to play our counters.
Horizon Chimera: I personally think this guy is amazing. A 3/2 with flying is nothing to scoff at. The fact he has flash for nice combat tricks and gives us life everytime we draw is great too.
Prophet of Kruphix: This guy is a beast here as well. It allows us to play our slivers on our turn but make sure we got mana to counter on our opponents turn as well. And if he doesn't drop anything significant, just play another sliver.
~SORCERY~
Divination: Helps refill our hands. Works well with Horizon Chimera
~INSTANTS~
Opportunity: Our big card draw, replinishes our hand mid game when most of our slivers and counters have been played.
Dissolve: A solid counter with scry.
Negate: In response to your Dissolve....
Syncopate: I love this card. Especially against those pesky X spells.
Simic Charm: As with most charms, this card provides a lot of utility to our deck. The hexproof can save our slivers from all except wipes. 3+/3+ can be used for an unexpected combat trick and the last ability is great against decks that run with a lot of enchant creatures (I see you U/W herioc...)
~OVERVIEW~
All in all, I think this deck has potential and its certainly unique, catching your opponent off guard. I am very open to suggestions on how to make this deck better and for what cards to put in the SB. Or if you think this deck is total shit lol, just let me know. Thanks for reading!
