This is a Nath deck that does NOT go wide (I got board of Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes ), nor elf tribal.

The goal is to get advantage by limiting my opponents' hand sizes via discard. I use the elf tokens mostly as fuel to trigger more discard, mill, or other value. I kill my opponents through effects that burn them when they discard or mill.

The ramp package is designed to get Nath into play on turn 4, which is why I'm not playing some of the more expensive ramp pieces like Solemn Simulacrum or Burnished Hart .

Nath does not help you draw cards, so the priority in the early game (and especially when making mulligan decisions) is to find one of your card draw engines.

Some ways to win:

Another nice synergy is Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Sadistic Hypnotist . You can empty everyone's hands and the game goes into topdeck mode. In my experience this isn't as bad for your opponents as they fear ... usually by that point in the game a couple people have draw engines online (like Rhystic Study ) so they often have cards to play. But it does make it hard for the opponent to lay a trap or build a plan over multiple turns.

Painful Quandary is also really good.
