The goal is to win, so why not play color's like the aren't supposed to be played?

Toying with the idea of cutting a Blood Moon to the sideboard in favor of Pyromancer's Goggles. Painter's Servant is currently in the chopping block in the sideboard because while people play Eldrazi at my LGS, it's not that big of a problem anymore.

A super spicy play is to drop Blood Moon on turn 3 (their turn 2) and then follow up with Molten Rain on their basic land to lock them out of colors. The opponent's reaction produces enough tears to cast Brainstorm... if it were modern legal.

Back on topic. Once you Ult Koth you pretty much just win. Between killing off their creatures clearing the way for Demigod or just pinging them to death, you never have to waste mana again! It's great.

Difficult match-ups include Ad-Nauseam and Scapeshift. If you can get down Moon against either, it gets easier, but, that doesn't always guarantee a win.

Best of luck and if you enjoy it feel free to toss it a like!

P.S. If you don't find Etched Champion to be a problem at your LGS, run Volcanic Fallout instead.
