This deck is an idea I've been tossing around for a little bit. I used to play a lot of control and blue in general but I've been moving away from that because it was getting boring, also my friends really don't like hard control, stax, or lock out type decks.

Anyways on to the deck. I REALLY like Omnath. He allows me to play a very voltron deck but also allowing me to go wide and tall at the same time.

The idea is to ramp very hard using Omnath as a battery to store mana for later turns allowing me to cast higher cost fatties much earlier than I would normally be able to all while swinging in with Omnath focusing on one player to kill them as soon as possible with commander damage. The idea is simple and works very well, even if Omnath is killed because I can simply recast him without worrying about the cost.

I've included cards to benefit from Omnath's high P/T at instant speed if he dies, protection for Omnath to make sure he doesn't die, Evasion to get him through, and plenty of mana sinks. I feel as though I need more instant speed mana sinks, perhaps creatures that generate tokens at instant speed or something like that.
