Sideboard

Uses Enlightened Tutor or Gamble to search for Sneak Attack as a combo piece, with Lotus Petal, City of Traitors, and Sandstone Needle for faster mana. Once Sneak Attack is in play, the opponent can be beaten with Dragon Tyrant, Draco, Symbiotic Wurm and Nicol Bolas - the latter being a game ender and Wurm having a death trigger - while avoiding prohibitive upkeep costs. Fling gets more value out of these creatures, which are going to be sacrificed anyway, and potentially wins the game while doubling as edge case emergency removal. For mid and late game disruption, tutors here may also fetch for Winter Orb, which acts as a cruel stax piece, given that Sneak Attack only costs R to cheat in a creature. Though Gamble is a much rougher tutor than Enlightened, it can also fetch creatures (most likely Bolas) and is amusing for both players even if it fails.

In the sideboard, Red Elemental Blast is anti-control, while Lightning Bolt adds more removal if the opponent has troublesome creatures and is also spare damage. Disenchant is combo disruption and counter-stax. Miscalculation can be slotted in for counter-combo or combo protection.
