Second attempt at a fast red deck based on lessons from Burnadette
The idea is to use burn spells to do two main things. The first is to clear and control the field in early game, and make way for creatures with haste or buffs. The second is to finish off the opponent if the way through gets too blocked.
To that end I have Fanatical Firebrand, Goblin Guide, and Monastery Swiftspear with haste. Monastery Swiftspear also gets a nice boost whenever I throw out a burn spell.
Kiln Fiend doesn't have haste, but gets an even bigger boost from my burn spells than Monastery Swiftspear.
Ghitu Lavarunner also doesn't start out with haste, but gets it and a buff if I have a set number of burn spells in the graveyard, which happens pretty quickly.
Playing Testing has shown it to be a bit better than Burnadette at the moment, but I don't have the widest variety of deck types to go against. Playing against myself I mostly have aggro decks.
It beats Sesom pretty soundly 80% of the time, but it has real trouble with any kind of deck that uses more lifegain than Sesom. Suinesra kicks its butt every time.
As always, suggestions are appreciated. I would like to push Sobokai into the big leagues eventually.
