Enchantment (8)

Instant (3)

Version 1, Hydras: This deck started out as a mono green Hydra deck. Along with my Minotaur deck (I started playing Magic during Theros if you couldn't tell), this was one of my first two decks.

Version 2, Bant Exalted: After learning more about Magic and falling in love with the Bant colors, I upgraded my kitchen table Hydra deck to a Bant Exalted deck - as you can probably tell by the comments below. I enjoyed playing it, but it wasn't competitive enough.

Version 3, Castle: I eliminated the Exalted factor and made it more control focused. After tuning the deck so much, the only two green cards left in the main board were Birds of Paradise and Jenara, Asura of War. I love both of these cards and it was a difficult decision, but I ended up removing green from the deck. After I added two Dragonlords, Magus of the Moat, and other medieval aspects - it was named Castle.

Version 4, Soul Sisters: I wanted to play competitively. I changed my Minotaurs to a Kiln Fiend deck, and I changed my Dragonlord Ojutai for Soul Warden ! Blue was eliminated and the deck was completely changed. I sure do miss playing Bant colors, the Castle deck, and my Birds... But this deck now has a great story for me personally and it's fun to play! And for modern, it's very budget friendly.

A perfect game begins with enormous turn 2 life gain from Martyr of Sands and casting a few quick Sisters.

The opponent will eventually (hopefully) be overrun with massively pumped versions of Serra Ascendant and Ajani's Pridemate.

Currently a work in progress.
