Fast-Paced One-Drop Burn Deck (with Goblins!)
Any suggestions you might have are more than welcome.
Pretty Straightforward Deck Tech:
Creatures: Goblins! Goblin Guide and Spark Elemental are amazing aggro drops usable from turn one. Goblin Fireslinger can fire past your opponent's Wall O'Creatures and
Goblin Arsonist
makes a great snack for Goblin Grenade. Finally, there's Grim Lavamancer to exile spent cards sitting in the graveyard to (wait for it...) FIRE THE AFTERBURNERS!!! (Get it? After-Burn-ers... Sorry, I couldn't resist).
Spells: BURN! BURN! AND MOAR BURN!!! Lightning Bolt is a given in a deck like this, and I went with
Burst Lightning
over Shock for added late-game versatility (if the game lasts that long).
Rift Bolt
the "Suspended, Sorcery version of Lightning Bolt" can also be hard cast for CMC (3), if needed. Finally, I used Reforge the Soul to solve my burnout problems, the only non-sideboard card that can't be cast as a one-drop. It's expensive at CMC (5), but can be played for CMC (2) if you draw into it.
Lands: Might be a little bit light, add 2x - 4x Mountain if you feel the need.
Sideboard & Maybeboard: Includes cards that could prove useful but either have a higher CMC cost or would push the deck outside of Modern.
