Sphere of Safety deck.
With Theros having enchantment support, i'm hoping to continue building this deck as the block is released.
Goal is to prevent damage through Supreme Verdict, or enchantment removal followed up with Sphere of Safety.
After stabilizing the board I hope to finish with cards like Aethling / Gideon / Jace, MA / Heliod, etc.
Blind Obedience - Cheap enchantment with hate against haste/blocking a finisher. Extort helps too.
Cyclonic Rift - Unsure on if I should run two, can win games if needed.
Detention Sphere - Enchantment + Removal, self explanatory.
Martial Law - Enchantment + Creature/Ability hate. May be a bit too expensive.
Negate - Protect my finishers if it leads to late game, protect myself from blowouts & counterspells of theirs.
Pacifism - Not really sure about this card, 2CMC is nice + stops creatures from attacking, doesn't stop activated abilities. Enchantment pump for Sphere
Soul Tithe - Potentially 2CMC removal, also an enchantment and can hold down an opponent if used on a needed card. Not sure about 4x.
Sphere of Safety - Deck archetype, getting multiple out is an easy win against decks w/o enchantment removal.
Sphinx's Revelation - Card Draw + Life Gain. Only concern is budget/if I should run 4x.
Supreme Verdict - Uncounterable board wipe, with a slower standard format this can ruin the day for aggro/midrange decks.
Aetherling - late game finisher
Gideon, Champion of Justice - Mid-late game finisher, not sure if I should run another Aetherling instead.
Jace, Memory Adept - Mill finisher, drawing cards is helpful too.
Heliod, God of the Sun - Counts as an enchantment, can produce enchantment creatures which also help pump Sphere of Safety, potential finisher.
