Sideboard

Blue green ramp deck using splendid reclamation as ramp spell. You can dig through your library pretty damn fast. This is a super fun durdlely deck that can win pretty much out of nowhere.

Went 4-0-1 at fnm this past Friday and was poised to win the draw but ran out of time. I believe it is set pretty well in the metagame, however to be fair I never ran into copycat in my matches. It's really good against aggro unless your opponent has a very fast draw and you don't have a great draw. Control can be a bit tricky, but most of the side board is set up for control matches. Now that Emmy is gone it is pretty dominant over mid range. I assume the match up against combo isn't good pre sideboard, but again counter spells are good and Baral is the bomb with counter spells like negate.

Baral is the best new card in the deck as he makes everything cheaper. I won the majority of games where I had him in my opener. Simply the threat of counters causes your opponent to slow down which is perfect for your game plan.

I was even able to live the dream and draw 8 cards off of rishkars expertise thanks to my previously surged crush. However I think that card should be in the sideboard to start. I am leaving for now until I feel like it sucks in the metagame.

I highly recommend trying this out as it is super fun as long as you like controlly durdlely decks. In one game I was able to Stonewall my opponent, he had about 8 creatures and a Gideon I was able to hold him off until I could cast an awakened part the waterveil then surged a crush the following turn to empty his board (after casting Nissa and making a 5/5 land) then I attacked for 11 and lethal. It was sweet.

Try it out and let me know your thoughts!
