Working on a Cecily, Haunted Mage and Othelm, Sigardian Outcast deck.

Note need to replace Fertilid with better ramp

This deck has two commanders but our win cons are mostly focused on getting Cecily, Haunted Mage's ability to cast us free spells. Othelm, Sigardian Outcast's overall purpose is to keep Cecily alive, however I have added some creatures that can be sacrificed and brought back with Othelm's recursion ability. The less cards I have to cast the more cards that will fill my hand getting us to the 11 cards needed to cast cards for free. Thus, recurring cards like Sakura-Tribe Elder or Alchemist's Apprentice every turn is preferable to casting the cards in hand.

I would like to add more win-cons to the deck but currently the easiest to pull off is with the spell Conflux. If you get the chance to tutor conflux then you probably should. The goal is not to cast Conflux with Cecily, Haunted Mage's ability, but rather to cast it from hand and use Cecily's ability to gain another turn. The five cards you want to tutor are card:Becon of immortality, Beacon of Tomorrows, Plague Drone, Fury Storm, and it doesn't matter as much but I would recommend getting Spore Frog. Hopefully, when you cast Conflux the five cards tutored will fill up your hand to at least 10. That way when Cecily attacks you will draw a card and can cast Beacon of Tomorrows. For this to work easiest it would be best if Cecily survives this round of combat. Whether that means making her unblockable with cards like Aqueous Form, using the Spore Frog from earlier to negate combat damage this turn, or simply reviving Cecily from the dead with Othelm, Sigardian Outcast's ability. Then, next turn, make sure to cast the plague drone. With Cecily's ability cast the card:becon of Immortality targeting either you or an opponent. Then, before it resolves cast the Fury Storm and have the copies target the rest of your opponents. If all goes well then every player will lose life equal to their life total and you'll have bonus health to spare should someone counter the Becon of Immortality. Note that you need to cast both commanders throughout the game so that fury storm copies at least twice.

There is also the combo of having getting Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and Aetherflux Reservoir onto the battlefield. Use the Bolas's Citadel to cast cards off the top of the library the Necropotence to get lands off the top of the library, and you will eventually out-heal the damage from Bolas's Citadel with Aetherflux Reservoir. Allowing you to cast your entire deck. (aside from cards like Arcane Denial that would require a card on the stack to cast Luckily, you can treat them like lands and exile them with Necropotence.) Note if your life total is too low you may not be able to cast enough cards before you start healing with Aetherflux Reservoir.

If you double your life total with card:becon of Immortality a few times either by copying it or casting it from the graveyard with Lier, Disciple of the Drowned you may be able to kill a player with Aetherflux Reservoir's second ability.

With Laboratory Maniac in the deck, you could win by having Teferi's Ageless Insight on the battlefield and casting Peer into the Abyss with Cecily, Haunted Mage ability. Then you cast laboratory maniac from your hand and follow up with Brainstorm.

If you don't have Conflux in hand but you do have Peer into the Abyss. It can be just as good as it will likely put an extra turn card in your hand and a way to get unlimited hand size. If you have Notion Thief then you can target someone else and not loose the life. If they have more cards in their library than you then you may even draw more cards. Another great card in this deck is Lier, Disciple of the Drowned. if someone previously counted one of your win-cons like card:Becon of immortality or you had to save yourself with a removal spell. If nothing else it protects your cards from being countered. Lier, Disciple of the Drowned can and should be tutored with Step Through. You can use Step Through as a removal from your graveyard after you get Lier. Lastly, you can recast those draw cards you played earlier from the graveyard and as with Othelm's strategy the less cards you have to play from your hand the better. Could add Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire to the deck to get infinite turns If there is a player with no blockers you you just cast Ruinous Ultimatum then Cecily, Haunted Mage and Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire can get you simi-infinite turns. Every turn you would boast to put Beacon of Tomorrows onto the top of your library then you draw and cast it with Cecily's ability. Repeat until you draw a win-con or kill everyone with creature damage.

If Triskaidekaphile is added to the deck you may also be able to win with it by getting 13 cards in hand before your upkeep.

If you add Mana Geyser into the deck you could win by casting a copy spell on the Mana Geyser and finish off an opponent the aftermath of Cut / Ribbons.

Could add Time Warp so that you could cast it from the graveyard with Lier, Disciple of the Drowned.

Lastly, perhaps add graveyard recursion card like Eternal Witness to pull out cards like Plague Drone Plus if you use Timeless Witness as a blocker and revive it with Othelm, Sigardian Outcast you could pull out more than one card.

If you like the deck or have any suggestions for changes or more win-cons feel free to comment. Looking forward to seeing what people think.
