Spring Cleaning

Standard* Zombie

gypsysong

Sideboard

This deck uses the graveyard (and possibly your life total...) as extensively as it uses the library but it isn't exactly dependent on either one.

Depending on how you draw, Lotleth Troll, Wasteland Viper and Walking Corpse can all be played early in the game to set up a combo or reanimation. What happens if you don't get any small creatures early on? I thought that would mean certain doom! There isn't really a way of quickly killing off specific creatures, but I haven't had any trouble holding out against aggro decks. Plus, cards like Terrifying Presence and Deadly Allure assist in gaining lost ground.

I haven't tried any of the sideboard cards yet. They're just some of the cards that were removed from the original version of this deck. I'm thinking about switching some of the sideboard cards out for Bloodthrone Vampire, Bloodflow Connoisseur and Bloodline Keeper  . I'm thinking it will be fun (and surprising to my opponent) to come out with vampires in round 2.

This deck is super fun if you like to think and be creative! There are strategies built in but you aren't confined to one approach.

Oh, and I know the mana curve looks bad, but it's quite playable.
