Deck Game Plan

The game plan of this deck is to cast Sram, Senior Edificer and then dump cheap equipment and aura cards onto the battlefield while sram's ability lets us keep our hand full of gas. We'll suit up sram and go for a commander damage kill. Our backups include infect damage (Grafted Exoskeleton) and a hybrid token/voltron strategy in Kemba, Kha Regent. We also have one game stalling combo Pariah + Darksteel Plate which prevents all damage except infect.

Protection

As a voltron deck we are fragile to 3 different types of effects

Targeted Removal

This is pretty easy to deal with. We have 3 cards that make sram indestructible, 3 cards that can give him protection from certain colors, and 2 cards that give him hexproof.

Aggro Attacks

We won't have a lot of blockers, and in order to win we need to attack with sram (or whatever our voltron pieces are attached to) every turn. We have 5 cards that give vigilance and 2 cards that give protection from creatures allowing us to block without worry. Additionally Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety discourage attacks altogether. Pariah will also help because it redirects damage and creates a soft lock when placed on something indestructible.

Forced Sacrifice/Edicts

This most deadly thing that can happen to our deck is an opponent with a repeatable edict effect (Dictate of Erebos,Sheoldred, Whispering One). In this case we really want to find Kemba, Kha Regent to produce tokens we can sacrifice or Assault Suit which prevents our commander from being sacrificed. This is the place where the deck is the most fragile, and if you suspect your table is going to run an abundance of edict effects, it might be worth it to put Kemba, Kha Regent in as your commander.

NOTE: Whenever we use a card that gives sram protection from white as a means of protection, any white auras will fall off... This isn't optimal but acceptable in a pinch because if he dies they all fall off anyway.

Ramp

Even though we are mono white we get to "ramp" a lot with cards that reduce the cost of artifacts and cards that equip for free or a reduced cost. I've went with a lot of 1 and 3 cmc mana rocks because there's really no way (within budget) to get sram out earlier than turn 2 and we plan on casting him on every turn 2.

Board Wipes

The goal is to have board wipes where we can break the symmetry. For Wrath of God/Day of Judgment/Fumigate we can either make sram indestructible (3 cards) or we can enchant him with Hyena Umbra to abuse the totem armor effect. Nevinyrral's Disk is our panic button- it will hit us pretty hard but is less of a setback if we have an Open the Vaults in hand and/or Darksteel Plate on sram.

Politics

Assault Suit is an interesting card because it gives us a bargaining chip with other players: they get an extra creature to attack other players with and we get some extra commander damage to other players. I would use it cautiously because a malicious player could deliberately swing into an player knowing a blocker will eat your commander.

Prison Term gives us pacifism that also fizzles activated ability combos! We can also use the ability to move it to other creatures as a bargaining chip with other players (I won't move the prison term to your big bad creature if you don't attack me the next 2 turns).
