STANDARD Aggro Werewolf Deck

Standard Aggro RG (Gruul) Werewolf

Maybeboard

An Aggro werewolf deck that uses only Innistrad block and M13 cards for Flavor Purposes (also, since M12 and Scars of Mirrodin will be rotated out soon). I based this on the Team Pavlov deck by Shrodinger then added more red werewolves, sacrificing the control for a more aggressive play. Planning to buy this deck for FNMs near my place (I didn't have money to buy mtg cards back then so had to resort to online play)

Please be respectful when posting comments. This is clearly not an all-powerful deck, but at least be more constructive with your feedback. This deck hasn't seen much action so there's plenty of room for improvement.

Does it work?

  • So far, won 7 out of 10 matches in MWS standard
  • Most were won 2-1 (the first game is almost always a loss)
  • Only won 2-0 a couple of times.
  • Match losses were mostly 0-2 (hard countered like a bitch).

Main Problems/Weaknesses

  • Fares poorly against White humans/flyers/artifacts during first game (switching cards from sideboard usually wins the next two games, but white human decks are still difficult to deal with)
  • Late Full Moon's Rise means no answer against early Ratchet Bomb
  • Black Sun's Zenith
  • infect deck murders lords and poison counters are evil

Maybeboard

a few cards in the maybeboard are alternative cards (since these cards are expensive IRL and I might have to settle for cheaper alternatives while i save up for the others)

*also thinking of doing away with Kessig Wolf Run and replacing it with basic lands since there's so many options to pump creatures already and the mana can be used for spells
