Maybeboard

I played a deck at FNM on April 8 that was very similar to this and split at top 2 with it. Unfortunately it was only 3 rounds cut at top 2, so I didn't get to see a whole lot of other decks that night. At FNM my deck did not have access to any SOI cards, so this is what I used at FNM instead of what you're seeing here in the list: -2xUncaged Fury -2xHarness the Storm -1xElusive Spellfist+1xExpedite +1xBrute Strength +1xInfectious Bloodlust +1xUmara Entangler +1xGudul Lurker. If you would like to skip how well this deck did at FNM, scroll down past round 3 With my list at FNM, round 1 I faced some kind of U/B/W control deck that had cards like Sorin, Grim Nemesis, Declaration in Stone, Sinister Concoction. I got him 2-0,I ran my opponent over quickly winning both games in a pretty normal prowess way. Round 2 I faced R/G werewolves, I won 2-0. game 1 was again, a pretty normal prowess win. game 2 was a little rough though because my opponent brought me down to a fairly low life total, and I know he could have a card like Uncaged Fury to win the game, but Clutch of Currents saved the day there, I was able to return an enchanted creature to his hand to gain tempo and took the win on my next turn. Making sure to cast a spell was crucial to prevent transformations. Round 3 I faced U/B zombies and won 2-1. This match was a little interesting because my opponent would either play his own creatures and try to ignore mine for as long as he could, or just go ahead and kill them off and spend all of his mana in the process, then pass the turn and give me back the initiative. The first game a lost mainly due to drawing 10 lands in the first 18-19 cards of my deck...ouch, but i beat him normally game 2. game 3 was close, but I pulled it out at then end with a slip through space on my wandering fumarole. As I said above, I split the money at top 2 with the other guy who was playing an eldrazi ramp deck that had ulamog and kozilek, I feel like I could have beat him but I normally like to split, plus we are pretty cool with each other and I did not really want to be a prick. Here are my thoughts on my new updated list, I DO NOT like having cards with a CMC of 3 or more in this deck, that being said, I also like the aspect of Uncaged Fury being in the deck, but I am thinking of taking 1 out for 1 more Expedite just for more cantrips, or even take it out for another Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh  . Chandra is extremely good I feel like in this deck, If she is played on curve and your opponent does not have an answer for her, you almost just win the game right there with 10 one-drop red spells in the deck, and many red spells in general. Another card I want to talk about is Harness the Storm, this card could potentially get cut down to 1, but I definitely like it in this deck as 2, and see no reason (other than to maybe fit chandra) to bring it to 1. This card can get insane value, and I just like the card in general, definitely needs some more testing but I believe it fits in the deck. I did consider adding cards like Lightning Axe and Fiery Temper, but I dont think they're needed. 4xFiery Impulse is really all the removal this deck needs in order to stop other aggro decks from beating you down faster than you can beat them. This deck has so much evasion to get around creatures that are not fiery impulse-able and as well as ways to bluff and scare you opponent into not blocking in the first place. Last couple cards I want to talk about, Anticipate is fantastic in this deck. It serves as a way to look for creatures in the early game if you have a hand full of spells, and also ways to end the game if you're out of cards and need to dig for a Slip Through Space or a Titan's Strength (Painful Truths also serves this same kind of purpose). Don't be afraid to anticipate during your mainphase on turn 2 or 3 if you need to look for another land as well, this is also a perfectly good option. Lastly is Dispel, this is just a 1-of because its more situational. I mainly have it in there for collected company because I was tired of getting beat by company with my mono-red prowess deck I used before rotation. If you think Dispel can be taken out thats fine, any suggestions to this deck are welcome The sideboard is still in progress and I have not given it too much thought, but the 3xDuress, 2xTwin Bolt, and 1xDispel I would like to keep in.

Updates Add

SIDEBOARD: -1 Jori En, Ruin Diver -1 Roast +1 Pia and Kiran Nalaar +1 Fevered Visions MAINBOARD -1 Anticipate +1 Abbot of Keral Keep

I made the change to mainboard since I recently picked up another copy of abbot and feel like I should have a nice number of 15 creatures in the deck. Also abbot is not a bad card to top deck in late game just as anticipate is not a bad top deck. The sideboard I feel needed some more adjustment as well since this deck can really lose to removal heavy control decks, just play a fevered visions and you basically win unless they have a way to destroy it. Mom and Dad Nalaar are not too bad either as they split up the power and allow for more creatures to come in.
