STOMP!
This is my attempt at a standard Stompy deck. It is pretty experimental, so any advice / suggestions are greatly appreciated. Here is the strat.
First, drop some very aggressive creatures like Flinthoof Boar and Wolfir Avenger. These creatures will put serious pressure on a late game opponent and are tough enough to kill some of the other strong cards in the aggro meta (Rakdos Cackler, Ash Zealot, Boros Reckoner, etc,)
Since we like the early game, we want to make sure it lasts as long as possible. In Stompy decks of yore, this was accomplished with spells like Tangle Wire or Magus of the Moon. However, this kind of land control is not available to us in standard. Good thing there is land destruction! A lot of it...
With all the highly muti-colored decks roaming around, land destruction is devastating. I know a lot of red players are livid about the Stone Rain / Craterize nerf, but it is OK for this deck because we don't want to start destroying lands until 4 mana anyway. Frenzied Tilling helps push things over the top as it sets up a lategame Kessig Wolf Run very nicely.
Reforge the Soul works very nicely for a reload as I don't care how many cards are in my opponents hand anyways. If you only have 2 land, I don't care how many cards you have.
