Let everyone play Magic, then copy/steal their stuff (but better-er).

Overview

The main aim is to enable EDH games that are fun, explosive and end up with some unexpected interactions. This is not designed to be an overly competitive deck, the initial build was fairly budget but I've started to add some more expensive additions.

Victory will be depend on your politicking. Keep a low profile ( Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist ), get the table some wonderful group hug action and hopefully scoop the win when the dust clears.

Mana Base

I've favoured mana fixing in my land, in combination with search for basic land effects ( Farseek , Far Wanderings , Harrow ) rather then using artifacts. It seems to give me a solid (if a little slow) mana base ( Jund Panorama , Grixis Panorama , Frontier Bivouac , Crumbling Necropolis etc.), which does give the impression of 'not doing a lot' in the early game and keeping the heat off.

Tutors

I've centred my tutors around finding Braids, Conjurer Adept and any one of the swathe of 3 drops in the deck. This should guarantee some group hug type play and allow flexibility in finding the right thing at the right time. Again, tried to keep to budget, so using some slightly odd card choices. I'm really interested to see how Sphinx Ambassador plays out and I love the flexibility of Perplex , a counter and a tutor in one.

Copy and Steal

This is the heart of the deck, seeking out interesting interactions with the cards in play. Once all other player's decks popping off, get in and use that stuff against them. I've leaned more into copying effects, as it feels it might draw less attention. Mechanized Production is in here as an alternate wincon and could really double down on an artifact that has been stolen from elsewhere, or your own Sol Ring .

"Just one more" (Anthem)

There's a small collection of anthem effects ( Leyline of Vitality , Beastmaster Ascension , etc.) that will allow any copied cards to out do their originators on the battlefield.

Updates Add

The deck works and has got some really nice interactions but takes a while to get going. I constantly find myself unable to play cards because I need to mana fix better so have got round to planning an upgrade to the mana base. Based on JLK's advice (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DSddyFCqPk) I've selected the right dual lands that will speed things up. I've ignored fast fetches as my wallet might melt. :) Also ditched the Temur Banner and Sultai Banner in favour of Chromatic Lantern and Simic Signet. The signet is cheaper and the lantern helps me ramp and fix.
