Semi-Budget Krenko EDH based around finding the most ways to get Krenko, Mob Boss to go infinite and win turn 5-8.
The main gameplan is to rush out Krenko, Mob Boss by turn 3 using any of the mana rocks, or at least get him proccing by turn 4 with any of the haste enablers. From there, assemble all of the necessary combo pieces and go off as long as it is safe (no one at the table can interrupt any of the key combo pieces).
The key to this deck is redundancy, with almost every part having a similar or identical counterpart such that if ever one combo piece is lost or cannot be found, there is another which can do its job equally as well, allowing for increased consistency, and a higher win rate!
Infinite Combos
Krenko Combo #1: Krenko, Mob Boss + Thornbite Staff/Staff of Domination/Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle + Ashnod's Altar/Phyrexian Altar/Skirk Prospector = Infinite Tokens + Mana

Deck Breakdown
Ancient Tomb - Land that gets me an extra colorless mana? Doesn’t come into play tapped? Negligible drawback? Sign me up!
Ashnod's Altar - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur
Battle Hymn - Can create a ton of man out of nowhere for cheap at instant speed in case I can’t get an infinite mana producer or if I need a burst of mana for some reason
Brightstone Ritual - Can create a ton of man out of nowhere for cheap at instant speed in case I can’t get an infinite mana producer or if I need a burst of mana for some reason
Coldsteel Heart - Creates one mana as early as turn 3, allowing for an early Krenko
Fellwar Stone - Creates one mana as early as turn 3, allowing for an early Krenko
Fire Diamond - Creates one mana as early as turn 3, allowing for an early Krenko
Mana Echoes - Creates a ton of mana off of Krenko procs, fueling the untap generators without needing to sacrifice, and can net a ton of mana in a pinch if the need arises (e.g. “Join Forces")
Mind Stone - Creates one mana as early as turn 2, allowing for an early Krenko
Phyrexian Altar - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur, and produces colored mana, which can be useful in certain situations
Ruby Medallion - Practically gives one mana towards a turn 3 Krenko, and cheapens a lot of other cards, often being better than a traditional mana rock for many other cards
Skirk Prospector - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur, produces colored mana, and is a Goblin, meaning that he is very easily tutorable
Sol Ring - Creates one mana as early as turn 2, allowing for an early Krenko
Star Compass - Creates one mana as early as turn 3, allowing for an early Krenko
Haste Enablers Show
Ashling's Prerogative - Set it to even and Krenko, along with his tokens, come into play with haste. Everything else in this deck doesn't matter anyways whether or not it can attack its first turn anyways. It also has the added benefit of being a mini-Kismet effect vs. some opponents, which is nice.
Hall of the Bandit Lord - Can allow Krenko to come online before turn 5, which is the general goal of all the ramp in the deck, and this turn 1 with Sol Ring and a red mana-producing mana rock turn 2 can turn Krenko on on turn 3, making the combo that much faster to potentially attain
Goblin Bushwhacker - Can give team-wide haste for 2 mana along with an anthem and is easily tutorable
Goblin Chieftain - 3 mana team-wide haste is never bad, and can get Krenko online on turn 4, functioning as a pseudo-mana rock, along with being an anthem to get in a lot of early damage before infinite is attained that can easily be tutored unlike
Goblin Warchief - 3 mana team-wide haste is never bad, and can get Krenko online on turn 4, functioning as a pseudo-mana rock that can be easily tutored, along with reducing other costs, which can be useful in certain scenarios like when Ruby Medallion is useful
Hammer of Purphoros - 3 mana team-wide haste is never bad, and can get Krenko online on turn 4, functioning as a pseudo-mana rock, along with giving some land-destruction evasion to try to make the best of a potentially disadvantageous situation
Lightning Greaves - 2 mana Krenko haste enabler that also provides protection with a free equip cost is extremely beneficial unlike its slightly more expensive counterpart Swiftfoot Boots
Mass Hysteria - Very simple, cheap, global haste enabler which helps press out the combos faster. It does hit _all_ creatures though, so occasionally it can be a double-edged sword.
Thousand-Year Elixir - 3 mana pseudo-haste enabler specifically for Krenko in order to allow to him to do his thing a turn earlier than he should due to summoning sickness, and can give a cheap untap each turn which can get out of hand very quickly
Non-Combat Damage Show
Boggart Shenanigans - Provides damage every Goblin death, which can easily go infinite when paired with the sac outlets when attaining an arbitrarily large amount of Goblins, and can be easily tutored unlike Outpost Siege
Blasting Station - Sac outlet that deals an infinite amount of damage at instant speed during the process of getting an infinite number of Goblins
Goblin Bombardment - Sac outlet that deals an infinite amount of damage at instant speed granted the correct number of Goblins is on the board
Goblin Sharpshooter - Deals an infinite amount of damage at instant speed during the process of getting an infinite number of Goblins, and can function as a selective board wipe when paired with Basilisk Collar, along with being easily tutored
Goblin War Strike - Can instantly kill a person given that the critical mass of Goblins is reached and is only one mana, only knock being that it can chained with something like Cyclonic Rift making it a moot point
Impact Tremors - A mini Purphoros, God of the Forge effect which can quickly kill the table granted Krenko gets enough procs off
Lightning Crafter - A key part in **Kiki Combo #1**, additionally being easily tutored and bolts every turn, which is nice
Massive Raid - Can instantly kill a person given that the critical mass of Goblins is reached and is only 3 mana at instant speed, which is extremely useful
Mob Justice - Can instantly kill a person given that the critical mass of Goblins is reached and is only 2 mana, only knock being that it can chained with something like
Cyclonic Rift making it a moot point
Outpost Siege - Provides damage every Goblin death, which can easily go infinite when paired with the sac outlets when attaining an arbitrarily large amount of Goblins
Purphoros, God of the Forge - 2 damage to each opponent every time something enters the battlefield, which can quickly kill the table granted Krenko gets enough procs off, along with being hard to remove thanks to his indestructibility
Siege-Gang Commander - Token generator that can also pop the field with enough mana and Goblins at instant speed, along with being easily tutored
Thornbite Staff - Convoluted way to win, but one nonetheless given a sac outlet, enough mana, and enough Goblins, also strictly feeding Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker a few of his combos and giving Krenko infinite untaps
Altar of Dementia - Sac outlet that provides infinite mills with infinite Goblins
Altar of the Brood - Provides mill on every permanent that enters the battlefield, which quickly gets out of hand once infinite Goblins are being produced
Basilisk Collar - Gives useful abilities to a possible blocker or alpha-striking Goblin, but is mainly used to wipe the board with Goblin Sharpshooter
Cloudstone Curio - Key part in **Krenko Combo #3** and can help with my ETB effects, along with helping pop my board up to my hand with a Krenko proc in case of a board wipe, which is really nice.
Goblin Assassin - Acts as a one sided board wipe with infinite Goblins as I don’t care if my Goblins die, whereas they would end up having to sacrifice all of their creatures after enough coin tosses, and can be easily tutored
Goblin Chirurgeon - Sac outlet that can save any of my important Goblins from destruction, and can easily be tutored
Lightning Greaves - 2 mana Krenko haste enabler that also provides protection with a free equip cost is extremely beneficial unlike its slightly more expensive counterpart Swiftfoot Boots
Mogg Infestation - A board wipe in red that has a negligible drawback speaking how more often than not I will have enough Goblins on the board to match the Goblins produced. Bonus points for a possible ending combo with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors if I wipe my side instead of an opponent's
Nim Deathmantle - Fuels the **Backup Combo** and can save Krenko from being removed from the field, along with giving some nice stats
Staff of Domination - Fuels many infinite combos, along with giving infinite taps, untaps, life, and draw for being very cheap (it is busted)
Stingscourger - An easily tutored Unsummon, but can also act as Cyclonic Rift in **Kiki Combo #4**
Tuktuk Scrapper - An easily tutored Smelt, but can also act as Vandalblast in the **Kiki Combo #3**
Vandalblast - Cheap artifact removal or one sided Shatterstorm, with both modes being very good
Zealous Conscripts - Threaten on a stick, or goes infinite in **Kiki Combo #2**
Token Generators Show
Beetleback Chief - 3 bodies for 4 mana, easily tutored, and is a key part in the **Backup Combo**
Hammer of Purphoros - 3 mana team-wide haste is never bad, and can get Krenko online on turn 4, functioning as a pseudo-mana rock, along with giving some land-destruction evasion to try to make the best of a potentially disadvantageous situation
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker - Makes hasty copies of things, and the named pivotal component of the **”Kiki Combos”**, along with being easily tutored
Krenko, Mob Boss - Star of the deck who doubles the Goblins present on the board and lends himself to the whole point of choosing him as the general
Mogg War Marshal - 3 bodies for 2 mana which can help jumpstart Krenko’s doubling early, along with being easily tutored and being a key part in the **Backup Combo**
Siege-Gang Commander - 4 bodies for 5 mana, a token generator that can also pop the field with enough mana and Goblins at instant speed, and is being easily tutored
Goblin Bushwhacker - Can give team-wide haste for 2 mana along with being an anthem that is easily tutorable
Goblin Chieftain - 3 mana team-wide haste is never bad, and can get Krenko online on turn 4, functioning as a pseudo-mana rock, along with being an anthem to get in a lot of early damage before infinite is attained that can easily be tutored
Goblin King - Gives a team-wide buff along with conditional unblockability assuming the opponents are playing red, and combos really well with Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon if the opponent somehow plays them or if I attain them in the future
Purphoros, God of the Forge - 2 damage to each opponent every time something enters the battlefield, which can quickly kill the table granted Krenko gets enough procs off, along with being hard to remove thanks to his indestructibility, and gives a nice team-wide buff on a mana sink, which can be helpful in certain situations
Quest for the Goblin Lord - Gives a large buff to the whole team which is online almost as soon as it hits the board, and allows for potentially huge swings even if infinite is not achieved
Sword of the Paruns - Primarily an infinite combo enabler, but can also give a buff to the team functioning as another Quest for the Goblin Lord
Draw/Tutor Show
Commune with Lava - Reads "Draw X cards and ignore all lands" with infinite mana, essentially being a second copy of Staff of Domination, along with being instant speed and useful when not infinite. All around just a solid card
Goblin Matron - Tutorable Goblin that tutors any other Goblin to the hand for cheap
Goblin Recruiter - Tutorable Goblin that tutors large amount of Goblins to the top of the deck, often finding Goblin Ringleader along with 4 other Goblins to allow for an explosive turn, often allowing me to combo off the following turn, but can used as a toolbox for whatever Goblin is needed, not just one specific set. That being said, my general stack if I feel like tryharding is, in this order: Goblin Ringleader, Skirk Prospector, Mogg War Marshal, Goblin Chieftain, Boggart Shenanigans for maximum potential to win the game once those 4 resolve
Goblin Ringleader - Tutorable Goblin with a great pseudo-draw effect that only gets better when used in conjunction with Goblin Recruiter
Mind Stone - Creates one mana as early as turn 2, allowing for an early Krenko, but can also be an extra card in a pinch, allowing for versatility
Moggcatcher - Great tutor which, albeit slow, can grab any of the combo pieces which I might be lacking
Outpost Siege - Provides damage every Goblin death, which can easily go infinite when paired with the sac outlets when attaining an arbitrarily large amount of Goblins. Additionally, it can function as a one-sided Howling Mine, which can always be useful
Reforge the Soul - A worse Wheel of Fortune that can still be used to find cards if my hand is sub-par, along with screwing over an opponent who I know might have something that they are holding which I don’t want to see
Sensation Gorger - Mini conditional wheel effect on a cheap Goblin which can be tutored is often going to be very useful. Bonus points for being able to combo with Goblin Ringleader really nicely
Skullclamp - Allows for a lot of drawing to occur by sacrificing a few Goblins with the necessary mana, which is extremely useful in pretty much every situation
Slate of Ancestry – Can draw a ton of cards in a pinch but caution is advised when using this, as you can easily lose yourself the game if you have too many Goblins out upon activation
Staff of Domination - Fuels many infinite combos, along with giving infinite taps, untaps, life, and draw for being very cheap (it is busted)
Wheel of Fortune – A cheap card that can be used to find cards if my hand is sub-par, along with screwing over an opponent who I know might have something that they are holding which I don’t want to see

Staff of Domination - Fuels many infinite combos, along with giving infinite taps, untaps, life, and draw for being very cheap (it is busted)
Sword of the Paruns - Primarily an infinite combo enabler, but can also give a buff to the team functioning as another Quest for the Goblin Lord
Thornbite Staff - Convoluted way to win, but one nonetheless given a sac outlet, enough mana, and enough Goblins, which also strictly feeds Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker a few of his combos and giving Krenko infinite untaps
Thousand-Year Elixir - 3 mana pseudo-haste enabler specifically for Krenko in order to allow to him to do his thing a turn earlier than he should due to summoning sickness, and can give a cheap untap each turn which can get out of hand very quickly
Umbral Mantle – Infinite combo enabler that also makes Krenko infinitely huge, which can be useful in the case of something like Crawlspace or other combat limiters
Zealous Conscripts - Threaten on a stick, goes infinite in **Kiki Combo #2**, or is a Krenko untap in a pinch
Sac Outlets Show
Altar of Dementia - Sac outlet that provides infinite mills with infinite Goblins
Ashnod's Altar - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur
Blasting Station - Sac outlet that deals an infinite amount of damage at instant speed during the process of getting an infinite number of Goblins
Goblin Bombardment - Sac outlet that deals an infinite amount of damage at instant speed granted the correct number of Goblins is on the board
Goblin Chirurgeon -Sac outlet that can save any of my important Goblins from destruction, and can easily be tutored
Phyrexian Altar - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur, and produces colored mana, which can be useful in certain situations
Skirk Prospector - Sac outlet that nets a lot of mana very quickly, allowing for many of the combos to occur, produces colored mana, and is a Goblin, meaning that he is very easily tutorable
### Notable Exceptions
**Land Manipulation:** (Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon) Simply these are out of my budget range and are a little too cruel for my playgroup.
**Overpriced Mana Rocks:** (Grim Monolith/Mana Crypt) Again, too expensive for effects that are nice but not too needed.
**Expensive Non-Infinite Combo Enabler:** (Rings of Brighthearth) Too expensive monetarily for an effect that doesn't make Krenko go infinite by himself.
**Staple Aggro Goblins:** (Goblin Guide/Goblin Lackey/Goblin Piledriver/Goblin Rabblemaster/Warren Instigator) Expensive for effects that don't really mean too much when this deck cares more about hard ramp into artifacts than ramp into Goblins.
**Niche Combo:** (Breath of Fury/Goblin Tunneler/Break Through the Line) Way too clunky of a combo for me to justify it when speed regarding Krenko is the name of the game.
**Utility Lands:** (Mishra's Workshop/Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx/Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle) These, though nice, are just not relevant because the game doesn't get to be long enough for their effects to matter.
**One Time Token Generators:** (Dragon Fodder/Hordeling Outburst/Krenko's Command) Through playtests, these seemed to be much more cute rather than actually being productive, so they had to be taken out in order to make room for more things that actively contribute to getting the main combos.
If there are any upgrades/better cards for any of the roles outlined in the "Deck Breakdown" section, I would be happy to look at them and add them if they are within budget range. Thank you!
