Story

There is an inherent loneliness in those who walk behind the air. A placelessness that comes of wandering too many places, and too far from home. The only ones who really understand are other planeswalkers - but family helps, and a home as warm as Tamiyo's has become a second home to many. A place to stay a while and share their tales. A story circle.

Far older than the upstart gatewatch. This is less of super, and more of friends. Untethered by a single goal these planeswalkers come together simply to tell each other stories.

I would love recommendations. In making this deck I held to a couple guidelines.

Every card is the sort of thing you might find in Tamiyo's house, garden, or surrounding countryside. Each card represents a peaceful aspect of the story circle's meetings - from the whimsical daydreams of Parallel Thoughts to the Sphere of Safety that this represents to many of those who travel here.

Some cards are specific to the story.

Meloku the Clouded Mirror is representative of Tamiyo's husband

Their biological children are shown as Oboro Envoy , Soratami Cloudskater , Soratami Rainshaper , and Soratami Savant.

Their adopted child is shown as Nezumi Ronin. As this is not a place the could breed one such as he, instead of using black mana I decided he would be brought to the family by Kentaro, the Smiling Cat

In order to make it feel like a story I opted for only a single copy of each card. One of each planeswalker known to be part of the story. I opted not to include Ajani Vengeant because he's not like that anymore.

The goal of the deck is to try and play out the story. I have lots of tutors - thematically the instructions the children are getting - in order to try and play out the story, but I imagine it is not uncommon for the days to melt together, planeswalkers entering and exiting in different orders as the days pass.

The deck builds on the quiet insubstantial power of the moonfolk. On the children's connection to the land, and the teachings that only those who can travel between worlds can instill on the beauty of the land.
