Perfection:
Turn 1 - Mountain
Turn 2 - Island, drop a Kiln Fiend.
Turn 3 - Any Land, drop a Distortion Strike or Slip Through Space, Assault Strobe and any other Sorcery or Instant, Kiln Fiend hits for 'unblockable' 20.
STROKES:---------:
Gitaxian Probe: Free card draw. Useful information can go a long way. As always, it can add to an extra +1/+1 on Monastery Swiftspear or +3/+0 on Kiln Fiend, again for free.
Serumn Visions: Card draw. Scry is a very useful tool in setting up the right combos for this deck.
Flamekin Harbinger: A straight up Kiln Fiend finder.
OF SUDDEN:----------:
Slip Through Space: 'Unblockables'. Card draw.
Distortion Strike: 'Unblockables'. Happens the 2nd time for free. This deck's second most valuable card.
Titan's Strength: Extra damage incase it's needed, and the always useful scry.
BLOOD:-----------:
Monastery Swiftspear: Can be very durable, and if needed can finish the game turn 4-5 with the right card combinations.
Kiln Fiend: Ablaze with fury this is our most valuable card; he does everything we could possibly want, need, or desire. If you have him in your hand Turn 1, you're in very good shape.
Assault Strobe: Double dipping is what life is all about.
Lightning Bolt: Extra damage or cheap creature clear.
