However, I really hate Llanowar Elves. I could easily be wrong, but I'm just going to play something else besides them. I've never enjoyed playing a mana dork in a midrange list.

The more I think about Wildgrowth Walker, the more I dislike it. I'm starting to be under the impression it isn't needed any more. Burn is on the decline, and all of the incidental life gain from my removal spells and Hydroid Krasis should be enough to beat the aggro decks. Implementing these changes will open up several sideboard slots as well and I'm not sure what I'd want to fill them in with at the moment.

Also as a side note, I haven't been overly impressed with Disdainful Stroke either...I think I'd rather it be the 4th Negate.

Main: -4 Wildgrowth Walker +2 Cast Down +1 Hostage Taker +1 Vraska's Contempt

Sideboard: -2 Cast Down -1 Vraska's Contempt -1 Disdainful Stroke +1 Moment of Craving +1 Negate +2 Open Spots (leaning on Duress or Unmoored Ego to start with)
