This is a U/W control deck I built for fun after pulling a bunch of Azorius-themed cards at the RTR pre-release. It's built primarily with cards from my collection, so relatively low-budget; The Maybeboard shows what cards I want to swap in to strengthen the deck itself. Other suggestions are welcome.

The main theme of this deck is to lock down my opponent's field while swinging with my creatures when I can. Some card draw is added for card advantage. Azorius Arrester , Lyev Skyknight , and Martial Law really shine in the lockdown field, while enchantments like Arrest and Encrust provide more permanent shackles. Isperia, Supreme Judge , Sphinx of the Chimes , and Drogskol Reaver provide heavy-hitters and card draw, and cards like Saving Grasp let me rescue important creatures or, with Faerie Impostor, reset detain creatures.

This deck actually ran really well against one of my husband's meaner decks, locking down three Eldrazi (including a legendary Eldrazi) before finally succumbing.

Ideally, I plan to pick up and trade in some of the cards in my maybeboard for some of the slower cards in the actual deck to improve the detaining.
