Deep-Sea Kraken is so fucking cool.

On another note, I don't know what to do with this deck. I have refined this deck time and time again, but it's still all over the place. It definitely needs work, but I'm not sure where to begin.

I'm honestly not a fan of playing counter spells or mill cards. It's just not the speed or rhythm at which I like playing. I have more fun out on the battlefield duking it out creature to creature rather than sitting back and countering an opponent's creatures before they've even entered the game. I know this sounds ridiculous, but casting Doom Blade on a creature is far more satisfying to me than Essence Scatter or Dissipate.

That said, I do have 5 counter spells, reluctantly. I simply just don't know what else to use! I need some guidance on which direction to take my deck. I don't mind keeping just a few counter spells, but I definitely do not want to mold my deck around it.

So where do you see potential with this deck? I'm open to any and all suggestions but one - just remember that wherever I end up taking this deck, Deep-Sea Kraken is coming with me!
