Deck Goal

The goal of the deck is simple : play Chatterfang, Squirrel General and summon a bunch of tokens. With that, you have creature removals, in addition to a lot of artifact and enchantment removals.

Your goal will be to survive until you have enough tokens. With those token, you will be able to drain your enemies with Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat or win with some creature buffs like Chitterspitter, Creakwood Liege or Return of the Wildspeaker.

Some Precision after playing bunch of games

Spawning Pit is a surprisingly good card in the deck. On paper, it just converts two creature tokens into a 2/2 (and a 1/1 squirrel thanks to Chatterfang, Squirrel General), and that's all.

However, the real interest of Spawning Pit is in two situations : - When you get wrathed, you can sacrifice all your creature to "conserve" their soul, and get token back when you'll play Chatterfang, Squirrel General. - When you have drains on the battlefield, Spawning Pit is a huge way to finish your opponent. You can just sacrifice the token create by Spawning Pit and the squirrel create by Chatterfang, Squirrel General and drain 2HP for each mana you spend. If you have enough creature on the battlefield, you may finish your opponents by sacrifice all of them with Spawning Pit.

Second Harvest is a huge wincon in the deck, as it "triple" your tokens with Chatterfang, Squirrel General. With it, you will have a lot of new tokens on the battlefield, which make you win if you have some drain. You can even cast Second Harvest during the endstep before your turn to prepare a big attack with creature buffs like Return of the Wildspeaker.

The deck is dependent of Chatterfang, Squirrel General. If your opponents aren't stupid, they'll try to use removal against it so you will struggle to be a menace. It's why the deck have some creature protections. You may also add more of them, like Malakir Rebirth   or Lightning Greaves, which are relevant in the deck.

In early game, you may play Chatterfang, Squirrel General on curve (at turn 3) as it have lesser chance to be removed from the battlefield. But as the game progress, try not to play Chatterfang, Squirrel General without doing anything else in your turn. It has too much chance to not stay one turn on the battlefield, so try to get value of it during the turn you play it.

You may notice that the main goal of Crop Rotation in the deck is to tutor Swarmyard, which is an excellent protection for Chatterfang, Squirrel General.

One way to win with this deck is by commander damage (dealing 21+ damages to an opponent with Chatterfang, Squirrel General). This win condition doesn't appear frequently, as draining your opponents or making a big attack is more relevant, but it may be useful against decks that heal themselves or that "can't lose life".

The deck isn't oriented into voltron, but there are a lot of creature buffs in the deck. Don't forget, you can also buff Chatterfang, Squirrel General by sacrificing your other squirrel and give +X/-X to your commander (without killing it, obviously). This can be effective if Chatterfang, Squirrel General have a lot of toughness.

Potential Addition

Pitiless Plunderer and Warren Soultrader are pretty good addition in the deck. By playing one of those card with Chatterfang, Squirrel General on the battlefield, you will almost always have infinite manas and infinite sacrifice. This will lead to an auto win if you have some drain or some draws.

But, these aren't cards really fun to play if your goal is to play casual EDH. Playing these card transform the deck in a combo deck, which lead to a dissatisfaction of your opponents. However, if your goal is to try hard and approach cEDH, Pitiless Plunderer and Warren Soultrader are auto-include in the deck.

Ivy Lane Denizen is a card you can add which combo with Scurry Oak. Even without the combo, the card is pretty relevant in the deck, and may easily lead to a kill of your opponent with commander damage.

If you want to have your deck as efficient as possible and if you already have added to your deck Pitiless Plunderer and/or Warren Soultrader, you should additionally play some tutor to get your combo peace.

Chord of Calling and Fauna Shaman can tutor easily those creautre. Dig Up and Diabolic Tutor are also some good budget tutor. You may also play Demonic Tutor or Vampiric Tutor, but these ones are more expensive.
