My LGS is running a modern tournament in a few months. I've put together a modern deck using only cards in my collection. I'd love to have an Aether Vial (or 4). But this is an attempt at a straight creature deck. Unsettled Mariner & Diffusion Sliver are there for spot removal, while Sedge Sliver, Pulmonic Sliver, and Frenetic Sliver are there to try and stop board wipes.

I put a few basic lands in because I've played a number of people who love playing Cleansing Wildfire and wanted to be able to get a land back on the board, should a land get blown up.

And finally, Necrotic Sliver and Harmonic Sliver are in the deck to potentially destroy any pesky permanents that hit the board.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on if you'd switch certain cards from off the sideboard into the main deck.
