I really like Myconids, fungus and saprolings and wanted to build around them. Since most Fungus cards add spore counters I decided to use Tayam as my commander to get some value out of those spore counters. I've trying to keep this deck CMC3 or less and I'm also strictly only using permanents as The Mycotyrant only cares about permanents going into the graveyard and Tayam only cares about permanents in the graveyard as the two synergize extremely well.
