This is a simple and fun modern vampire deck. The strategy is pretty simple- poop out vampires and win with Vampire Nocturnus

Nocturnus is actually pretty inexpensive if you get the promotional foil version.

one drops like Shadow Alley Denizen can do a lot of damage. Vampire Nighthawk is a strong creature, four of them really adds flying power to any mono black deck. Bloodline Keeper   and Captivating Vampire have unique abilities that can lead to victory. I have chosen to avoid the Exquisite Blood Sanguine Bond combo because it feels cheap and I have more fun with this overpowering creature based build.

Life gain keeps you alive and balances out Underworld Connections ... a great tool to get more cards in hand and excellent at keeping vampire nocturns's ability active .Sorin Markov is a powerful planeswalker. his -3 ability is an instant kill if you can swing 10 or more damage, which is very possible with Vampire Nocturnus on the field.
