Narset, Enlightened Master

Alright I made this deck around when Narset, Enlightened Master was spoiled to begin with, and have been working on it since. I heard people talking about how overpowered she is and what decks she would be apart of, but this design isn't the cliche of it. Narset, Enlightened Master is overpowered, but you have to get lucky.

This is the strongest deck I have made, and I have still designed it with my opponents fun in mind. Notably I run combos that require lots of setup and or luck, and use the opponents decks and my deck to full use. Also I am normally against infinite combo win conditions. Also I focus on comeback mechanics and synergy up the ass.

NOTABLE COMBOS:

These are the powerhouse win conditions with MANY rough edges, counter holes, and lots of setup time. Which normally keeps it fun for everyone. Tutor for these.

Time Spiral + Eye of the Storm

Cast your whole deck

Eye of the Storm + Knowledge Exploitation

Cast your opponent's whole deck! (Almost) Then... Eternal Dominion?

Soulblast + Insurrection

Best comback mechanic ever invented, and it is an insane finisher. Also combos well with the tokens.

Eternal Dominion + Paradox Haze + Reverberate + Twincast

Another way to cast their whole deck....Over time...

Storm Herd + Soulblast (Maybe with Reverse the Sands too?)

Simple Token 1-Shot when in a sticky situation.

Storm Herd + Deploy to the Front/Clone Legion + (Cathars' Crusade)

Suddenly, tempo.

Day of the Dragons + Insurrection

Oops.

The main goal is to take your opponents permanents aswell, (which is the different focus away from normal Narset, Enlightened Master decks. You then use tokens for massive tempo swings. I also don't run any counterspells with my opponents in mind. The reason for no counters is to slow down my deck (Even though it can be a turn 6 win due to out-tempo) and the little thing most people miss, is that this deck WILL cast a lot of spells, and countering all of them gets extremely difficult if not impossible. I ONLY RUN 1 EXTRA TURN MECHANIC. I have found that the extra turn mechanic relied too much on Narset, Enlightened Master one swing to kill, and that having the best extra turn card (Time Stretch) allowed for my combos to have a better chance and my opponants to have a slower game from my end.

Regarding the slower game: I do play a bit of pillow-fort control. Using cards like Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Martyr's Bond, Runed Halo, and Sphere of Safety, Mystifying Maze, Kor Haven, and Prahv, Spires of Order. This allows me to still be competative with the early game and increases my odds of winning by synergizing with Mid/Lategame combo-tempo-strats.

And last but not least, the Narset, Enlightened Master basic win condition, swing once? Win through multiple combat, commander damage. (Still can work without extra turn mechanics up the ass.)

+1 If your friends are a love hate relationship.
