Hello,

This is Temur Reclamation. This is a homebrew deck: I decided to build it after seeing Splendid Reclamation. It looked to be a card with great promise, and I'm fairly happy with the result.

I would like to note that I haven't built, proxy tested, or thought of matchups for this deck. It's something I'm hoping to fix.

Regardless, I'll break down why each card is in this deck, the synergies with it, and by the end you should have intimate knowledge with how this deck runs.

The Mana Base - Is as simple as possible. Again, this hasn't been tested and feel free to poke around with it. Perhaps adding more land would be a good direction for this deck.

The Creatures

Curious Homunculus   - This is one of the best cards in the deck. It helps churn out cards faster unflipped, and fills in the insignificant mana dork slot. But when it's flipped (an easy task), it turns into a huge threat, and the biggest enabler in the deck. Given the ten, two-drop, instants and sorceries, he's a complete menace when flipped. The deck will pseudo-storm off, and you'll be in a very good position. Given the basic deck composition, he hits really hard, and will grow to match Verdurous Gearhulk's counter boosted creatures.

Oblivion Sower - This is a rather overlooked card because it was in a duel deck, but it is anything but bad. The main issue with him, is that he doesn't need to be in the deck. A seven mana eldrazi would function better with Kozilek's Return, but I felt he matched the spirit of the deck well, and hit the curve a little better. You'll likely find yourself pitching this guy (eldritch abomination) to Nahiri's Wrath in most every situation. Feel free to replace him with something you feel would work better.

Spells

Contingency Plan - The reborn version of Taigam's Scheming. It does its job well, and I'm happy with four copies. Be sure to throw all of your lands into the graveyard (in most situations), and any other card you don't need.

Tormenting Voice - When you can't run six or more copies of...

Cathartic Reunion - This is likely the most defining card in standard. Its price tag would be high if it was an uncommon, and painful if it was a rare. I cannot stress how good this card is. Its use is simple but effective, pitch all of your lands (you'll likely draw a new one) and dig a little deeper for relevant pieces.

Kozilek's Return - You might be questioning why I'm using this over Radiant Flames, and that's because this card can wipe the battlefield when you drop a sufficiently large eldrazi later in the game. I feel that Nahiri's Wrath will be enough, but I'm unsure.

Pieces of the Puzzle - The underplayed hero of this deck. The role is vital, it digs deep for the relevant cards, and puts lands in the graveyards, but it's not as flashy as some of the other cards, and will likely be overshadowed. To make a bad pun, this is one of the cornerpieces of this deck... stop laughing, it wasn't funny.

Nahiri's Wrath - There is no card more fun to play, than this. I'm completely serious; there's nothing like being able to kill Emrakul, the Promised End with a three mana red sorcery. This clears out everything that Kozilek's Return can't. However, even with the deep digging this deck does, there are only four copies, so hold onto them until you can completely ruin the rest of your opponent's game. It is relevant to note, that an opponent may commit more board against this than a white deck, for the fear of cards such as Fumigate. Other than that, it's a good mythic rare in this deck. Big, flashy, clears the board, and pitches lands. Can't get much better than that.

Coax from the Blind Eternities - The reason that the titans or other eldrazi in the maybeboard is there, and not in place of this card, is simply because that this deck produces mana in excess, to cast both this card and the titan in one turn, and the simple flexibility that locking into a choice of one or two creatures would have. Kozilek may be more important than Ulamog or Emrakul against a deck full of counterspells. It's also important because both Ulamog and Emrakul die to common removal (exile, sorceries), where Kozilek would not. Desolation Twin and Void Winnower both have their own unique methods of avoiding certain spells, and Desolation Twin in particular puts out more damage. There's other eldrazi as well (that costs over seven), be sure to have copies of them on hand as well.

Splendid Reclamation - The Scapeshift of this deck. Even if you play this on turn three, it will still likely grab a large number of lands. It'll give you more lands than Nissa's Renewal, but doesn't have the extremely useful lifegain. If your opponent's deck has counterspells, throw the Dispel's in from the sideboard. I wish I could have more than four copies of that as well...

Nissa's Renewal - The (second) best ramp card in the format. It provides good lifegain, mana ramp, and is worth the two slots.

Other Options

Traverse the Ulvenwald could be a good option, as well as Ulvenwald Hydra. Planeswalkers such as Nissa were considered, before ultimately dropped because this deck struggles to protect them. You could add a Chandra or two simply because it's a great card, and a similar mentality could be adopted for.

Rise from the Tides deserves it's own special mention because it could clear out the game on its own, and provide this deck with a more distinctive win condition than coaxing out large eldrazi titans.

More counterspells are always possible. Mindwrack Demon was considered before being dropped in favor of more copies of digging spells.

Omnath could be a huge powerhouse, and one I am planning to experiment with. Consider that lovable blob of mana for this.

In Conclusion try this deck out. It works fine when playtested on this site, and I'm planning to take it to an FNM soon. I'll post the results when that happens
