Temur Traverse Midrange

Modern Midrange RUG (Temur)

Dingo

Sideboard

Went 3-0 this FNM.

Round 1: Mill, a ridiculously good match-up. 7/8 Goyfs win games it turns out.

Round 2: 4C Saheeli Cat. Really good games here! Lost game 1 fair and simple. Opponent sided in too much GY hate game 2 (at least 2 RIP) only to find out I had sided the Goyfs out in anticipation of this. Won by Lizard Wizard beatz :) Game 3 was MUCH longer (we both stalled out at the beginning), but Radiant Flames and Staticaster kept the field clear and I was able to interact enough to keep Saheeli and the cat off the board and win eventually.

Round 3: 8-Whack, which turned out to be another pretty decent match-up. Game 1 was very close; I was down to 3 life, but had cloned a 6/7 Goyf with Replicate and was able to swing for lethal after cleaning the field up with bolts. Game 2 was more or less a slaughter. Spellbreaker made my opponent's life hard, and Radiant Flames and Staticaster both put in serious work again. But the highlight of the match was winning by casting my opponent's bolt with Daredevil :)

Overall, very fun deck and I'm honestly pretty surprised that it did well. I was glad I was able to anticipate the amount of aggro there, but I'm a bit worried about the control match-up. Bogles could be an issue too, but I think if I can get Rec Sage or BtN early enough it should help. On the plus side, this deck absolutely rips apart Storm and is decent against Living End. Amazingly, haven't played against Tron yet, but I hope 3x Magus post-board might be enough. If not, I'll think about replacing 1 or 2 in board with Alpine Moons maybe.
