Yeah, the title is a bad pun about Charlie's Angels.
Chandra, Nissa, Saheeli working for Tezzeret.
The idea is quite simple here. We are a mid-range deck with sort-of-a-combo to finish.
The combo is to push a lot of Thopters/Servos/Etheriums and sacrificing them to a
Ravenous Intruder
. If we get a Saheeli Rai online, it can copy the ravenous to have haste, or any other creature to make it an artifact. Also, with Tezzeret the Schemer emblem it can make it a 5/5 with haste. Not bad, after all.
Ravenous is just an ace in our hand for getting a tapped out enemy. Otherwise the deck behaves as a normal mid-range deck.
Scrapheap Scrounger
gives a lot of pressure along with our
Rogue Refiner
. Just copy the Rogue with Saheeli and take an extra draw, also.
Whirler Virtuoso is an amazing card imo. Continually shitting thopters as long as you have energy. Ran out of energy? Copy with Saheeli, get another 3 energy, make another thopter.
Nissa, Steward of Elements works wonders with Saheeli Rai. Use the Scry with Saheeli. Like what you see? Play it with Nissa. Lands are playable too, so she helps you to ramp up, or to get another creature on the field.
Aether Chaser is on the deck because of the first strike and the passive of making more tokens for us. I chose that card because there are too many creatures on the metagame that die with 2 damage, such as another Scroungers, the mana dorks, Rogue Refiners... we can assure we stay safe with this guy on the field for the first turns.
Not much to say about Chandra, Torch of Defiance. She works wonders with Saheeli or Nissa. Gives mana, kills creatures, and makes our first card playable. Scry with Saheeli. Oops, it's an spell we need to play. No worries, exile it with Chandra and play it.
So, why Baral's Expertise on the deck?? Sometimes we won't be able to stop other aggro decks. So, bounce them up, for example, Glorybringers, and play any planeswalker you want after that.
The deck is based on that synergy. It's really fun to play and has a clear answer for almost everything in the metagame.
Give it a try and share the results :)
