You would think that living on a plane full undead off all shapes and sizes that Thalia would get used to things just coming back on occasion? Well, no. Thalia is not the biggest fan of creatures that want to harm her just reanimating from the dirt that she just smacked them in to. Thalia and The Gitrog Monster is a revamp of one of my previous decks, Anafenza, Empress of Junk, to try and maintain consistency and a bit of power creep. The deck still keeps a focus of graveyard hate with Leyline of the Void, Ashes of the Abhorrent, and Anafenza, the Foremost does keep her seat within the deck. T & G are a natural stax piece and are coupled with Drana and Linvala to slow down any shenanigans that I do not inherently approve. Token producers like Beledros Witherbloom, Skrelv's Hive, and Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold help keep the big frog happy with plenty of creatures to "eat". We add a bit of hypocrisy in our play with a small reanimation package in Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, Vat of Rebirth, and Virtue of Persistence as I like to see my nontoken creatures comeback, but make sure yours are gone until the next game. To top it off, we a flurry of infinite combos at our disposal: Archangel of Thune + Spike Feeder , Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista , and Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void .
