That's a 10 – Monogreen Stompy

Modern Aggro Budget Competitive Mono-Green Weenie

Klempky

Sideboard

No surprises here, just a monogreen Stompy deck. Literally has more combat tricks and pumps than creatures, has only four cards above cc1, can swing for 10 on turn two, Fishbowls consistently on turn 4, and is stopped in its tracks by most control.

  • Dryad Militant and Nettle Sentinel are your real stars: pair them with two Might of Old Krosa for 10 damage on your second turn, or with two Groundswell to make it a surprise. Militant is great graveyard hate, and Sentinel effectively has vigilance as your combat tricks untap her right away.
  • Young Wolf and Memnite are cannon fodder, the latter being free to cast and the former being a good blocker to get back as a 2/2 early on. Both are great targets for Rancor as they're guaranteed to get chumped at some point, freeing Rancor up for another target while hopefully taking out whatever you block.
  • Kalonian Tusker and Leatherback Baloth can provide some bigger bodies if the game goes on a bit, and also make Aspect of Hydra pretty monstrous. Either goes well on offense or defense, and can hold their own without pumps.
  • Ranger's Guile and Vines of Vastwood can get some clutch damage where you need it (especially Vines), but are really there for incredibly cheap protection when it counts. Aside from Wolf's Undying, everything you play will fall over in a stiff breeze when it's not pumped, not to mention your lack of card draw, so keeping things alive is important.
