All of these Aggro and Mid-Range decks are casting Polukranos, World Eater and I'm just sitting here removing.
Mainboard:
AEtherling: Need I explain? I only run one cause truly, that's all you need most of the time.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver: Mid-Range match ups are funny with this guy. He's a legitimate target that people would do a lot to get rid of, in fear of me taking their Ruric Thar, the Unbowed or Blood Baron of Vizkopa.
Desecration Demon: My favorite standard creature. A 4 drop 6/6 flying that not even Mizzium Mortars can take out. Yeah, you can tap it down. Well it gets bigger and gets rid of your board state.
Pack Rat: Oh my... this card. Would you waste 2-3 removal spells on this guy? No? Well you kinda have to... The only thing this guy falls weak to is Detention Sphere, which can be countered.
Prognostic Sphinx: I don't give a crap about how people say this is a bad rare. It's good. A 5 drop 3/5 flying, and whenever it attacks, you scry 3. Yes, 3. Not to mention the fact that he has potential hexproof.
Underworld Connections: Hey guys, look, I can tap a land to draw cards for days. I will slowly die, but I think I have some hefty backup.
Whip of Erebos: Did I say I'd kill myself a bit in this deck? Well this is the first step of recovery.
Hero's Downfall, Doom Blade, Ultimate Price, and Devour Flesh: Oh my god, all of this removal. I'm drooling. Mid-Range and Aggro hate me so much.
Dimir Charm: This is good, special removal. Kill a weenie? Check. Counter a Mizzium Mortar? Check. Also, if your top decks are not treating you well, you might use it's other ability.
Dissolve and Syncopate: I'm running control. Come on.
Read the Bones: Scry, draw, then kill myself. I love this card.
Last but not least for the main board, Thoughtseize: Wow. I thought duress was good, this is just great. Say goodbye to that main win condition that hand had.
Sideboard:
AEtherling: Against control, just in case they counter the first.
Dark Betrayal: I have Doom Blade in the mainboard, and black devotion is a thing.
Drown in Sorrow: Killing weenies and scrying. Aw yis.
Erebos, God of the Dead: Wow, look at that lifegain deck. What purpose does it have now... ? Oh, and more card draw.
Lifebane Zombie: I love this card due to the hand hate and the unavoidable damage. Mid-Range's worst enemy.
Notion Thief: Hey, nice card draw. Can I...can I try it out?
Pithing Needle: Hi, Billy Mays here! Are you tired of planeswalkers and Underworld Connections ruining your day?! Introducing the brand new Pithing Needle!
Rapid Hybridization: Blood Baron of Vizkopa? Fiendslayer Paladin? Nope. Just frogs.
Whip of Erebos: Sometimes, some lifegain isn't enough.
Reap Intellect: I don't care what you say. This card is great. Goodbye Grey Merchant of Asphodel, Desecration Demon, or Sphinx's Revelation.
I love this deck. I enjoy this deck. I cannot play anything else. I have mastered The Art Of Removal.
