Tournament play — June 1, 2013

I took this baby to the Standard Constructed Tourney my Base holds every Saturday. Here's the results...

Against a Jund Midrange netdeck, I lost 2-1. Essentially, he was able to protect his beaters better than I could.

Against a Junk Rites netdeck, I lost 2-1. Again, he was just significantly meaner with his reanimation mechanic. In my win, however, I was able to get Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Jace, Architect of Thought and Ral Zarek on the field. Jace kept his mana-dorks from hurting Bolas, and when he dropped his beaters, Bolas took them away!

Against a Gruul aggro netdeck... I kinda went 0-2 here... Don't really want to relive my double turn-4 losses back to back...

Against a Bant Auras netdeck, I (yet again) went 1-2. The biggest problem here was getting my board-wipe fodder out fast enough to keep his hexproof guys at bay.
