Mono black devotion, using the shrine to nyx to pump out multiple spells.

Ramp out with devotion into either Griselbrand or a devastating Gray Merchants apostle

Bloodghast for steady reanimateable field presence and devotion

Since Geralf's Messenger comes in tapped and Bloodghast can't block, Nantuka Shade is a good early game blocker.

Nantuka Shade is good mana sink for shrine to nyx later in game for finishing hits, so it's not a dead draw later in the game

Gray Merchants apostle for game finishing damage when a good field presence is held

Viscera Seer to stop Bloodghast and Geralf's Messenger getting exiled and for a scry mechanic when sacing them just to bring them back

Liliana of the Veil to help keep opponents hand in check, combos well with discarding Bloodghast

And a little bit of spot removal for safety and creature combo hosing

Inquisition of Kozilek and thought seize for a bit of control

With some board wipes Sideboard for extra safety.

Phyrexian Arena for card draw, cos Bob would be too much pain with CMC's like this
