Reanimator deck ive been making for years, is the favorite deck that i have and i love it , because of how much ive been fighting to finish it
started with it lot of years ago, in 2011 when i saw the graveborn premium deck series for the first time. As a kid while playing magic in the 90ties, i always wanted to have a deck with extremely powerfull creatures that can be played at low cost, but i wasnt able to do it. In that time (urzas sagas time) i didnt know the existence of lot of the old cards this deck had. Lot of years later in 2011 i saw the Graveborn, and i knew that those cards where to ones i been looking for all my magic life =P.
Magic are not cheap where i live and the cards i need for this deck are very expensive, so ive been creating this deck for years. Im happy that i only need only 1 more card to finish the deck-
Some of the creatures came along with the Graveborn, the other were chosen by me.
This deck is for casual playing only, i normally use it with my friends when we get together to play magic , and its normally banned by them ( lol )
Strategy :
This is a combo deck , so there is only 1 thing that you have to do, Bring back from the grave the strongest creature you can get to end the game as quickly as you can, like in the first or second turn.
using --- Dark Ritual to get 3 mana + Entomb to bring a creature to the cementery + Reanimate or Exhume or Animate Dead to put it in play-
Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or Iona, Shield of Emeria are the choices that will end the game in the first turn ( if the other player cant kill them of course).
There are other stragies like Dark Ritual + Buried Alive + Sharuum the Hegemon + Magister Sphinx that will leave the oponent in 10 life or Sphinx of the Steel Wind or Inkwell Leviathan
You can also start with Griselbrand he is awesome and will made the deck flow
Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is probably my favourte because even if he get killed, he will make your deck flow.
Other cards like Cabal Therapy and Putrid Imp will put your creatures to the graveyard from your hand
Counters :
blue counter or any deck that can kill your creatures will defeat you. Also cards that destry graveyards will make this deck defenseless and imposible to play.
