Credit goes to FSims81 for suggesting most of the cards in this deck. A more competitive approach to a previous deck I created, making it much better for standard. Focused on getting Heliod online using devotion, this deck packs a few cheap creatures with costs like 1WW or WW to be the most efficient for the mana cost. Alseid of Life's Bounty is a generally good card, and a relevant 1 drop is always welcome, especially when it gives protection. Spells like Ardenvale Tactician and Shepherd of the Flock are employed to prevent attackers and remove vital creatures from combat respectively. Taranika, Akroan Veteran and Hero of the Pride buff up creatures to make them more intimidating, and the same goes for enchantments like Indomitable Will and All That Glitters. Reverent Hoplite is pretty self-explanatory for a devotion deck, and Banishing Light, an enchantment that exiles something and provides devotion fuel is also in. All suggestions are welcome.

I removed two Nyx Lotuses from the Sideboard and put in two copies of Linden, Steadfast Queen to be swapped in for better protection against Aggro and fast damage. I also moved one copy of Taranika, Akroan Veteran and one copy of Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to the Maybeboard to put in two copies of Luminous Broodmoth. This will be super helpful for getting damage through to opponents with large creatures like Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath and avoid major threats like Questing Beast. More updates will be coming in the future.
