Spell heavy Grixis control standard, originally I was using Harness the Storm and Fevered Visions, but fun is over rated, so they're gone. The plan like in most spell heavy control decks is to keep the board clear with one for one removal and sweepers until threats like Docent of Perfection   and Niblis of Frost can take over the mid to late game. I'm not sure if a list like this really has a shot at being super good until Collected Company rotates, but it's pretty fun even without the pet cards.

The card I'm ultimately most uncertain of in the list is Galvanic Bombardment , I like the potential upside but I feel like Fiery Impulse might be better most of the time, given how many instants and sorceries I'm running.

Also, Cryptolith Fragment   and Pyromancer's Goggles are on my watch list. I don't think the deck can handle the life loss from the fragment against any deck that puts on pressure, and the goggles don't interact with the black or blue spells super well which makes them less efficient. If I were to put in the goggles I'd swap out some black removal, probably Grasp of Darkness, for Fall of the Titans .
