I'm looking to make this as good as possible, no matter what. All suggestions are encouraged! Please comment!
3/6/12 LGS Tournament Report! I took this deck to my LGS for a standard tournament unsure how it would do, but I went 2-1 and took second place (out of 8)!
NOTE: I DID NOT HAVE ANY CAVERNS FOR THIS
Match 1, UB Zombies:This one was tough, we were back and forth for a while, with me hitting in with Silverblade Paladin and him returning the favor with an undying Geralf's Messenger. He got his bomb, pharexian obliterator off twice with Phantasmal Images to boot, but main decking
Elite Inquisitor
really won me this game.
First game: Win, Second game: Loss, Third game: Win
Match 2, UB infect,Not much to say here, my opponent couldn't keep up with the number of creatures I was dropping. Important to note though that the
Elite Inquisitor
came quite in handy when dealing with pharexian crusader, very much suggested in this deck.
First game: Win, Second game: Win
Match 3, RG Aggro,Unfortunately I don't have a ton to say about this one either, I lost games 1 and 3 because of bad draws which was disappointing. Game two I subbed all four Pillar of Flames to deal with Strangleroot Geist and damn did it help, with that and the Silverblade Paladin he just couldn't keep up. game three could have been the same but I drew a single mountain and a Slayers' Stronghold and didn't draw a white until it was too late. Thing I learned from that: Mulligan if you can't work with your hand as is.
First Game: Loss, Second Game: Win,Third Game: Loss
All in all I'm very happy with this deck. Fun and very powerful, but I still think it could be better!
