Even the Kamigawa Spirits, renowned for being virtually unplayable, cannot help but be better when handled by a true professional. Karador, Ghost Chieftain is that professional. His graveyard recursion abilities allow soulshift and spiritcraft to get a little out of control when combined with a sac outlet such as He Who Hungers , Ashnod's alter , or Birthing Pod, as you play the card from your graveyard.

Notable combos include:

• Buried Alive targeting Iname, Death Aspect , Iname, Life Aspect , and Myojin of Life's Web with Karador out will allow you to dump, recur, then play your every creature in your deck. "POWER!!!! UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!"

• Long-Forgotten Gohei + Sekki, Seasons' Guide . Sekki's ability will prevent damage dealt to him even if he has not +1/+1 counters on him. Thus, Sekki becomes a damage immune creature that produces LOTS of tokens. Limited use with Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers "In time, you will learn to trust your feelings. Then, you will be invincible."

• Palace Siege /Karador, Ghost Chieftain + Yosei, the Morning Star/Kokusho, the Evening Star + Any sac outlet. Let the prospect of casting Kokusho every turn sink in.... Feel the table hate you? "Good... Good... Use your aggressive feelings... Let the hate flow through you...."

• Hana Kami + Choice of Damnations + Karador, Ghost Chieftain. Cast Choice of Damnations every turn. "You can either profit by this or be destroyed. It's your choice, but I warn you not to underestimate my power."

• Karador, Ghost Chieftain + Karmic Guide . Get any creature, no matter, how expensive, from your grave for 3WW. "To cheat death is a power only one has achieved through centuries of the study of the Force. But if we work together, I know we can discover the secret to eternal life"
